Man Utd boss Ferguson hints he wanted face-to-face Sneijder meeting

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson feels agents control the transfer market.

United were keen on Inter Milan's Wesley Sneijder in the summer, but the move never took off.

Ferguson said: "Regarding the transfer market, the player is never there when it is time to negotiate. Sometimes I wonder whether agents work for themselves or for the players."
