Man Utd boss Ferguson has no Foster doubts

Ben Foster will make his long-awaited Manchester United debut at Derby on Saturday.

The highly-rated keeper has yet to play for the title-chasers despite earning an England call-up.

Foster, 24, has been out of action for the past seven months after sustaining knee ligament damage.

Boss Alex Ferguson said: "Ben has been out for a year and this is a big challenge for the boy.

"Certain things about him encourage me. He has fantastic presence and speed and agility.

"I have no fears about him being OK."

Foster arrived at Old Trafford in the summer of 2005 but was immediately farmed out on loan to Watford for two seasons.
