Man Utd boss Ferguson happy for Chicharito to play for Mexico in Olympics

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is prepared to release Javier Hernandez for Mexico's Olympics campaign.

Last Monday, Mexico coach José Manuel de la Torre and the country's U23 boss Luis Fernando Tena was in Manchester to meet with Ferguson and discuss Chicharito's availability.

Chicharito has indicated he's prepared to play for Mexico in the London Games and Ferguson would be happy for him to take part with no other summer commitments weighing on the striker.
