Manchester United had scouts in the stands to check on Atletico Madrid star Sergio Aguero in midweek.
While Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich plans a £42 million offer for the Argentine star to be tabled tomorrow, Marca says United boss Sir Alex Ferguson had Aguero watched last week.
Ferguson posted scouts to watch Aguero in action for Argentina against Russia.
