Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is convinced they were robbed of a second penalty in last night's 0-0 draw at Barcelona.
"I thought it was a penalty," he said irritably after the game. "The world and his wife would think that."
The manager did accept, however, that the referee would have been under pressure having giving the first penalty so early.
"It's hard enough to ask for one penalty. You're doing well if you get one. To ask for twoâ¦well, I wasn't surprised that we didn't get it," he said.
Ronaldo himself was confused as to why he was denied a chance to redeem himself after his first penalty miss.
"Marquez touched me. But the referee didn't give a penalty. I don't know why," he said.
