Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has blasted the ruling that allows Chelsea captain John Terry to face them on Sunday.
Ferguson last night accused referees' chief Keith Hackett of being biased against United after Chelsea defender Terry had his sending off overturned on appeal.
England captain Terry is free to play for Chelsea against United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday after his foul on Manchester City striker Jo last Saturday was deemed not worthy of a red card.
Ferguson said: "Keith Hackett told Mark Halsey to rescind the red card and he would not do it. Now I understand Halsey is refereeing in division two this weekend. I do not understand how this has happened.
"If it had been Manchester United, Keith Hackett would not have done this. In future, if referees are seen to make mistakes then this (demotion) is going to have to happen all the time."
