Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has again talked up the impact of new signings Robin van Persie and Shinji Kagawa. Both have shone since their summer arrival.

Fergie said: "We have added Shinji Kagawa and Robin van Persie and they have football brains.

"Van Persie still needs games but the best way is to play him because he's capable of winning the game for us.

"His finishing, some of his football, brightness and awareness of players about him is very, very good. Kagawa is such an intelligent little player.

"His movement is good and he doesn't give the ball away. That will be an important ingredient to this game."
