Sir Alex Ferguson says his most important title at Manchester United was their first Premier League triumph.
The Scot lifted his 13th English title yesterday and looked back on how he got the ball rolling for an incredible era of dominance.
Fergie, 71, said: "The most important achievement was winning the first championship.
"Once we did that the door opened and we just grew and grew. And in that time we had some fantastic teams. Some players were here today and it was an honour to manage those players."
