Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson wants Old Trafford's bumpy pitch to be re-laid.
Ferguson was furious after his side's 3-1 victory over Spurs on Sunday in the FA Cup. Players watched in the dressing room as he vented his fury about the state of the surface.
Now the club will have to shell out around £250,000 to get the pitch redone in time for the Manchester derby in 11 days' time.
Fergie has been unhappy about the state of the Old Trafford pitch for a long time, says The Sun.
There have been problems since the stadium was extended, restricting the sun and wind getting to the surface.
The Scot is also not happy that the Super League Grand Final is played there every October.
It was once relayed four times in a year and has even had mice on it.
