Man Utd boss Ferguson explains low-key transfer policy

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has explained his transfer plans for this summer.

Despite the disappointment of missing on his two targets last season, Ferguson remains happy with the development of his squad.

And he explained that he is loathe to make too many excursions into the transfer market because of the fear of upsetting the development of some of his brightest young stars.

"In the market today it is difficult and the structure of our squad is good in terms of ages, the balance the numbers and there are a lot of good young players," he Inside United.

"Sometimes you have to trust in all the development. I think we have worked hard over the years in bringing in young players and developing them very well...and I'm going to stick with that or most of it."
