Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is delighted with the performances of summer signing Nani so far this season.
"The long-term view with Nani was that he would come in for Giggs now and again," said Ferguson.
"From what we have seen of him so far there are some thing that you pick up after you have bought a player and that is he is quicker than I thought. He is very, very quick.
"He is also a marvellous crosser of the ball. He is absolutely superb with either foot at crossing a ball. There is great potential because he is only 20.
"We know he is going to get better. Once he settles in, it is like everyone else, he will improve. The more he learns the language will help him, though he is actually doing all right learning the language. He is keen to learn that which is good.
"We are quite bullish about him. Ryan knows himself we can't play him every week. We'd been looking at an alternative for him and fortunately Nani is doing well."
