Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is again on the trail of Olympique Marseille winger Hatem Ben Arfa.

Ben Arfa has been a long-term target for Ferguson, who has been made aware of his availability from l'OM this summer, says L'Equipe.

The winger's agent has confirmed the interest of Everton since the end of last season.

Ferguson missed out on Ben Arfa as a 15 year-old when he was snapped up by Olympique Lyon and he is determined not to lose out again.
