Man Utd boss Ferguson demands 100 goals next season

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson says he wants 100 goals from his team next season.

Premier League champions United hit 99 goals in all competitions last season.

Cristiano Ronaldo hit 26 of those and Fergie said: "If we're going to win the league again or do well in Europe, we need players to step up.

"You look to score about 100 goals in all competitions. We'll aim for that again."

Ferguson, speaking to Inside United magazine, added: "Wayne Rooney's capable of scoring 18 or more a season and Michael Owen can get us 15 goals."
