Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson will play Wayne Rooney from the start against Chelsea on Sunday.
Rooney was given 71 minutes against Sporting Lisbon last night, his first game since suffering a metatarsal injury earlier this season.
After the 1-0 victory, Ferguson said: "It was difficult to measure how long we kept Wayne on the pitch, but as soon as we scored I decided it was time to get Louis [Saha] ready.
"Wayne will be better for his minutes on the clock and I'm sure he'll be ready for Sunday."
