Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has no regrets resting Paul Scholes for the defeat to Wigan Athletic.
Scholes will be back for the home game with Aston Villa.
"Paul has shown his influence since he came back but I did the right thing to rest him on Wednesday. He will be fresh on Sunday and he will play," said Ferguson.
