Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is convinced Wayne Rooney is set to go on a scoring run.
"He's been unlucky on a lot of occasions in the last couple of weeks and he's been a bit frustrated because strikers are strikers and want to score every game," said the United manager. "But he is the type that will go on a run of games and quite easily score a few goals for us.
"I've not sensed a difference in him after getting the goals because I think his form has been very, very good anyway. He keeps getting into scoring positions and making runs that get him into scoring positions so he has been doing everything right.
"Maybe he needed a little bit of luck, but in the main he's not been doing anything wrong. Hopefully it is a good sign for the rest of the season.
"We've come to the time of the season where every match is a league decider," Fergie added. "We are approaching the finish line and there is not long to go now.
"But sometimes at this time of the year the nerves can play a part, form plays a part and you can get a shock. You've just got to try to stay consistent.
"The important thing is to do our own job.
"We've got two home games left and Middlesbrough, Blackburn, Chelsea and Wigan to come so we've got to make sure our away form stays strong."
