Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is convinced his current team can win the Champions League this season.
For all the United manager's record-breaking success in domestic competition, he admits his teams have under-achieved on club football's grandest stage.
Ferguson, preparing for Tuesday's group stage match against Braga at Old Trafford, said: "It is a frustration that we have not won the Champions League more often, especially when I think of the times we've thrown it away. But you can't let it eat away at you. You've always got the next year. The final is at Wembley this season and that's a great incentive for us.
"If I can get my defenders back, we'll have a great chance."
