Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has hinted he may hold onto Chris Eagles this season.
The midfielder struck in yesterday's 1-1 draw with Kaizer Chiefs in South Africa and Fergie told MUTV: "Chris has a lot of ability, which is important at our club, and he's still young.
"He's maturing and we'll see how he does in the rest of the tournament."
Eagles added: "I've been here since I was 14 and I have no plans to leave. The manager is the main person I have to please and I respect him for what he has always done for me."
