Man Utd boss Ferguson confident having Vidic, Fletcher for next season

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson feels his squad will be even stronger next season without spending a cent.

Ferguson is looking forward to adding two experienced internationals to his squad next season - Nemanja Vidic and Darren Fletcher.

United captain Vidic is on target to return from his knee injury for the 2012-13 campaign, and Ferguson is hopeful that midfielder Fletcher, out of action with a bowel condition, will also be able to join pre-season training. Ferguson added: "Darren is coaching with the reserves and he's going to start a programme quite soon to get his fitness up.

"The big push will be pre-season to try and get him back to the level he was at."
