Man Utd boss Ferguson: Chelsea won't sell us Lampard

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has cooled talk of a move for Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard.

Ferguson has ruled out a move to bring in the 33-year-old to boost a United midfield which has been depleted by injuries this season.

"Do you really think Chelsea would sell to United in January?" said Ferguson. "There's no foundation in that.

"Chelsea want to do something in the second half of the season so they want to keep their best players."

My comment is nothing to do with the story, although I notice that McLeish didn't answered the question posed to him.

I'm more interested in the adverts below the story. It's been a while since I bought a pair of boots, but who on earth would buy those white Nike Tiempo IV Elite FG boots for £275. Has the football boot market gone crazy on the last few years? Are there simply not enough boots to go around anymore?
