Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson feels Rio Ferdinand's career is over.

Now Chelsea skipper John Terry has now quit international football but Fergie fears that will not help Ferdinand's chances of adding to his 81 caps.

The Old Trafford boss admitted: "Roy made his decision and I cannot see him changing that.

"It will be a difficult one for him to go to Rio now and welcome him back."
