Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson rapped Wayne Rooney after his performance in their 1-1 draw at Swansea City. The England striker was subbed 12 minutes from time and cut a disgruntled figure when he took his place on the bench.
Fergie said: "Rooney didn't play well. It's as simple as that. He had a few opportunities and you would agree that Ryan Giggs gives you that balanced left foot. Ashley Young was doing well on the right so it was just a matter of form."
