Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson says the Premier League is becoming ever more competitive.
Fergie believes that the Premier League's greater strength in depth makes United's achievements so far this season even better.
He said: "The Big Four clubs must deal with the emergence of Manchester City and Tottenham.
"Beyond that, every team are telling themselves they've got a chance against the big clubs.
"That wasn't the case five or six years ago. Now we're facing a threat everywhere."
