Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson rates their Champions elimination as the biggest disappointment of the season.

Ferguson declared the demise of the 2009/10 Champions League campaign to be his biggest regret, with our quarter-final conquerors Bayern Munich through to the Madrid final on 22 May.

"I look at the European Cup as our biggest disappointment to be honest with you. We should have been in the final. We were the better team and played fantastic here, we just didn't have the luck on the night and that's what can happen in football. You need a bit of luck," he told MUTV.
