Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson admits Wayne Rooney could miss their massive game at Liverpool on Sunday.
Rooney is already out of tonight's Champions League clash at CSKA Moscow with a calf injury and is struggling to be fit for the Merseyside trip.
The possible absence of Rooney, whose wife Coleen is also expecting the couple's first child this week, is an obvious concern for United.
"He is facing an uphill struggle," said Ferguson.
