Man Utd booked for diving more than any other Prem club

Jose Mourinho is never shy of pointing the finger in other directions following a disappointing performance or result from his team, and Sunday's derby against Manchester City was no different.

The Portuguese manager spoke about the behaviour of Manchester City's players, claiming they were quick to fall to the ground, "because of the wind." He also claimed City's players "enjoyed the grass" because they spent so much time on the floor.

However, statistics show City do not have the most players who have suffered bookings for simulation in the Premier League. That honour goes to none other than Manchester United – Mourinho's own team.

United have received two bookings for simulation this season, with Ander Herrera getting one in the game against City, and Antonio Valencia receiving one for a dive against Tottenham at Old Trafford in October.

There was some debate about the penalty claims of Herrera in the game, so it could be argued it was a contentious decision from the referee. However, it shows that Mourinho's claims of City players being eager to dive may not have as much truth as he would like to claim.
