Man Utd board sets three point criteria for Ferguson successor

Manchester United have already set their criteria for the manager to succeed Sir Alex Ferguson.

The Daily Star Sunday says the first requirement will be European experience, particularly at Champions League level.

United will also want a manager who will continue the club's policy of developing their own players.

And they will require someone who will embrace the club's commercial operation.

The manager who in particular ticks those boxes is former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola - but he has just taken over at Bayern Munich.
