Manchester United have reportedly increased their offer to FA Cup finalists Cardiff City for teenage prodigy Aaron Ramsey in an attempt to outbid rivals Liverpool.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to offer £10million for Cardiff's highly-rated teenage midfielder Aaron Ramsey to head off a late move by Liverpool, says the Daily Mirror. United are also prepared to loan the 17-year-old back to the Bluebirds for a season to help Cardiff manager Dave Jones as he attempt to steer the Welsh club back to the top-flight after an absence of 47 years.
