Manchester United have beaten Liverpool for Burnley starlet John Cofie.
The Guardian says United have agreed terms with Burnley to sign 14-year-old striker Cofie, according to the Championship club.
Cofie has been affiliated to Burnley's school of excellence and was expected to move to Liverpool's youth academy.
