Robin van Persie and Nemanja Vidic are out of the Manchester United squad for Wednesday night's Champions League meeting with Bayer Leverkusen.
The Red Devils take on the Bundesliga side at the BayArena on Matchday 5 but will have to navigate the trickly away trip without their star striker and key defender.
United boss David Moyes said: "They are both injured. Neither of them are long-term but they are not quite ready yet."
van Persie will miss with a groin injury while Vidic is unavailable because of a concussion.
