Manchester United are again interested in Borussia Dortmund defender Neven Subotic.

German media sources say United and Bayern Munich are both chasing the Serbia international, with a January bidding war not ruled out by intermediaries.

Subotic, 24, plays alongside United captain Nemanja Vidic at the heart of Serbia's defence and has long been a target for the Premier League giants.

The defender is now in season six at BVB.
