Manchester United are moving to trump Real Oviedo for Mexican whizkid Jurgen Damm.
The young winger, tied to Estudiantes Tecos, was due to join Oviedo this month, but the move has been hijacked by United.
Damm is set to begin trials with the Premier League leaders this week with the view to winning a contract.
Oviedo count on Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim, the world's richest man, as a majority shareholder.
