Manchester United haven't dropped their pursuit of PSG defender Marquinhos.

L'Equipe says United and Barcelona are set to battle it out for Marquinhos.

United have been linked with moves for the Brazilian centre-back in the past but recent reports suggest that Barcelona are considering swooping.

Jose Mourinho could look to further bolster his defensive ranks in January and Marquinhos is set to once again be linked.

But Barca are reportedly planning to spend as much as £50million to land the 22-year-old.
