AS Monaco midfielder Bernardo Silva admits he has ambitions of playing in England or Spain.

The 22 year-old Portugal international has been linked with Manchester United and Barcelona this season.

He told Canal Plus: "For the moment, I feel very good in Monaco. It was the club that allowed me to play at this level.

"The goal of players is of course to play one day in Spain or England, but for the moment I feel very good in Monaco."

Silva is a product of the Benfica youth system and was snapped up b Monaco, first on loan and then in a €15.75m permanent deal 18 months ago. He has a contract until 2019.
