Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is threatening Jose Mourinho's plans for Samuel Umtiti.
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is in contact with the Barcelona defender about a move to Old Trafford. With his contract carrying a €60m buyout clause, Mourinho has informed Umtiti's minders United are prepared to match his new contract demands.
However, Diario Gol says the defender's brother, Yannick Umtiti, was in Madrid this week to meet with Perez. Like United, Perez is happy to meet Umtiti's buyout clause to bring him across Spain.
Should the deal happen, Perez would make room for Umtiti by selling Raphael Varane - who ironically is also a target for Mourinho.
It's suggested if Perez was to keep Varane's asking price realistic, Mourinho would be happy to do business and allow Real a free run at Umtiti this summer.
