Manchester United are pushing to sign Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic over the weekend.
The Mirror says United have not given up on Perisic — with a £39million offer to Inter Milan still on the table.
The Old Trafford giants have been trying to land the Croatia international winger all summer, but have been put off by Inter's £48m valuation.
Boss Jose Mourinho identified Perisic as one of four players he wanted to sign in the current window, and has already landed his other three targets.
Executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is understood to have met Perisic's agent, Fali Ramadani, in recent days to try to push through a deal.
