Manchester United and Arsenal have welcomed news that there will be less international games.

Premier League teams will also get more money for releasing their players for Euro 2012.

United chief executive David Gill said: "It's a great agreement."

His Arsenal counterpart Ivan Gazidis said: "UEFA's willingness to talk to clubs is leading to agreements."
