Hertha Berlin midfielder Arne Maier is attracting major Premier League interest.

BILD says Arsenal and Manchester United are scouting the 19 year-old this season, who has been outstanding in an impressive Hertha midfield.

Maier has played every minute of Hertha's Bundesliga campaign this term.

The midfielder penned terms to 2022 in February and has been given his chance this season under coach Pal Dardai.

Hertha chief Michael Preetz said of Maier: "He has mastered the leap from junior to senior level and has shown how much potential he has. We're convinced that his great development up to now is far from over."
