Man Utd, Arsenal told to wait for Standard Liege's Defour

Standard Liege midfielder Steven Defour isn't planning a midseason departure.

The Sun says Manchester United and Arsenal have been told to forget about signing Standard Liege's £15million-rated Defour, 21, in January.

But Paul Stefani, the player's agent, hinted at a summer move and said: "Of course Steven would be interested in coming to England in the future."

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson penned a letter to Defour when he suffered a serious injury earlier this season.
