Man Utd, Arsenal not giving up on Southampton youngster Oxlade-Chamberlain

Premier League rivals haven't given up on Southampton winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The Daily Star says Chamberlain made his debut for England under-21s as a substitute during their 1-0 friendly defeat to Italy in Empoli yesterday.

A product of Southampton's youth system, Chamberlain is the son of former Portsmouth and England player Mark Chamberlain.

Both Arsenal and Manchester United - who also showed interest in him last month - are expected to come back in for him next summer.

Chamberlain has three years left on his contract but is understood to be keen test himself in the Premier League.
