Borussia Dortmund suggest that Shinji Kagawa will cost prospective buyers around 20million (£16.17m).
The Japan international is being linked with the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and AC Milan but Dortmund owner Hans-Joachim Watzke feels the 23-year old will land his club a decent transfer fee.
"I also note what Bayern Munich paid for goalkeeper Manuel Neuer (22m to Schalke last summer).
"He also only had a year left on his contract. Given those facts we can certainly expect a princely sum for him.""We all know the abilities of Shinji, his youth and the value he adds to this side," Watzke told Sport Bild.
