Manchester United and Arsenal are on red alert after Cesc Fabregas hit out at his situation with Barcelona.
United boss David Moyes was encouraged by the Spaniard's comments after his two-goal salvo against Real Betis on Saturday.
He said: "Today was time to say that I am here. I know the boss has a starting team in his head, and I am not in it.
"I played a good game against Celta, and then I was left out for most of the two games [against Espanyol and AC Milan], and that really messes you up. Today I wanted to vindicate myself so that does not happen again."
The feeling remains however, says the Daily Mail, that Fabregas favours a move back to Arsenal and will wait until they show their hand before making a final decision.
