Manchester United have made contact with VfL Wolfsburg for Kevin de Bruyne.HLN says United have opened talks with Wolfsburg over the possibility of signing De Bruyne.

Former Chelsea winger De Bruyne has been in fine form for the Bundesliga side this campaign and has racked up a staggering 20 assists in all competitions.

However, the Red Devils will have to offer close to the club record fee paid to Real Madrid for Angel Di Maria to land the Belgian.

Wolfsburg are demanding €60m for his signature.
