Manchester United have struck terms with Toshiba Medical Systems.
The five-year partnership, the first of its kind to be developed with a British football club, will see state-of-the-art medical equipment provided to the United's medical team based at The Trafford Training Centre in Carrington.
"Our players are at the centre of Manchester United and it is vital that we are able to offer them the best possible medical support," said United's commercial director Richard Arnold.
Toshiba Medical Systems Europe chief executive Chikao Kamijima said: "This will ensure that the players and staff at Manchester United are given the best support possible and should also help to promote Manchester United as a leading innovator in football and player wellbeing."
