Manchester United have closed the signing of Fiorentina defender Michele Fornasier.
United announced on their website today that Fornasier, 16, will join the Reds' Under-18s squad with the rest of the first-year Academy scholars.
Fiorentina had been threatening to block the move and were demanding action from FIFA over United's raid.
