Man Utd angry with Platini plans

Manchester United are angry over Michel Platini's dabbling with the Champions League format.

UEFA president Platini believes the fourth Premier League place should be sacrificed in two years' time in a bid to revive the FA Cup competition.

But Manchester United chief executive David Gill blasted: "The current system is the right one to ensure the best teams are in the competition."
