Manchester United are keeping tabs on Sergio Busquets' situation at Barcelona.

United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is a big fan of Busquets and has followed his progress since he was first introduced to the senior Barca team by coach Pep Guardiola.

AS says Busquets is set to attract a January offer from Zenit St Petersburg as they seek a replacement for the outspoken Igor Denisov.

And should Barca indicate a willingness to sell, Ferguson is sure to make a counter bid with his midfield screaming out for the ball-winning ability of Busquets.
