Man Utd ahead of West Ham for Iturbe after agent grab
Manchester United are battling West Ham United for Paraguayan superkid Juan Iturbe.
The People says Iturbe, dubbed the next Lionel Messi, has been seized from his club Cerro Porteno by top agent Gustavo Mascardi who has offered his parents a stunning £1million to let him own his contract.
Cerro, who own the player's registration, have now contacted police about his disappearance and could report the case to FIFA.
News has come from within the camps involved in the transfer that Mascardi plans to take Iturbe to Manchester United, but the kid may be banned from football for over a year until he is 18 - next April. West Ham had hopes to negotiating a deal with Cerro Porteno.
