Manchester United and Liverpool are depending on Chelsea winger Kevin de Bruyne to land Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke. Atletico won't sanction Koke's sale until they find a replacement and see De Bruyne as an ideal option.
The Daily Star says United manger David Moyes is keen to add to his attacking options and has earmarked Koke, who has a £16m release clause inserted into his contract, as one of his main transfer targets.
Liverpool are also interested in bringing Koke to the Premier League, however Moyes remains confident he will seal a deal to bring him to Old Trafford in the new year.
