Manchester United had a deal agreed for Atletico Madrid winger Arda Turan last week, it has been revealed.
AMK says United had met his £20m buyout clause, but complications over paperwork meant they were unable to strike a deal.
The 26-year-old was part of the Atleti side that won the Copa del Rey last season.
